You can now lock past periods so finished books stay as they are, and record a date and notes when you cancel a transaction.

Restrict changes with a lock date
Set a lock date, and entries and payments on or before that date can no longer be edited. Turning this on or off is recorded in the activity log.
Cancellation date and notes
When you cancel a transaction, add the cancellation date and a note explaining why. The cancellation date can also be a future date.
